Celebration continues over the appointment of Dr. Jordan. Dr. Jordan gives a speech officially accepting the presidency. Phil Bravin's sister and father are interviewed about his appointment as Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Video begins with people chanting several different things like "Deaf President Wow" and "Deaf President Now". Phil Bravin and Dr. Jordan appear to give their speeches. Phil quickly introduces Dr. Jordan. The students are chanting their support for him. Dr. Jordan expresses his thanks and publicly accepts the position as President of Gallaudet University. He gives a speech praising Gallaudet and the actions of those involved in the protests. Video cuts to a media room where people are continuing to celebrate the appointment of Dr. Jordan. Someone interviews the sister and father of Bravin. They said they were at home and someone called on the TTY to give them the news of Dr. Jordan's appointment. The sister asked about the other demands and that person told her that her brother, Phil Bravin, is the new Board chair. Video cuts to a few people and then Fred Weiner comes on stage. He says the National Association of the Deaf, who has been involved from the beginning and their members all support everyone who worked hard for the protests. Jeff Rosen says they never faltered because they knew the appointment of a deaf president was inevitable.
