The Board of Trustees announces the resignation of Jane Spilman, the appointment of Phil Bravin as Chair, the appointment of Dr. I. King Jordan as president of Gallaudet University, and a committee to review the make up of the Board. Celebration commences with various clips and interviews of people.

Video opens with an interior shot of the Embassy Row Hotel and the Board is releasing a statement. Phil Bravin comes to the podium to state that he is the new Chair of the Board of Trustees. He also adds that the Board has accepted the resignation of Jane Spilman as Chair and as a member of the Board. Spilman gives a statement saying she believes that her resignation will help the university as she has become an obstacle. Bravin then announces that the Board of Trustees has picked Dr. Irving King Jordan as Gallaudet's next president and that the Board has developed a task force to review the composition of the Board. The task force will be majority deaf trustees. He also states there will be no sanctions towards the students and employees who participated in the protests. Video jumps to celebrations on campus as everyone celebrates the Board meeting all four of their demands. Mary Lou Novitsky asks Greg Hlibok how he feels. Tim Rarus makes an announcement that I. King Jordan will be at Embassy Row hotel to officially announce his presidency. Mary Lou Novitsky films her segment about the conclusion of the protests with the appointment of Dr. I. King Jordan. Tim Rarus and Jerry Covell express their excitement at the appointment of the first deaf President of Gallaudet University as well as the appointment of Phil Bravin as Board Chair. Jackie Kinner (Roth) says she was at Embassy Row Hotel during the Board meeting and saw two people leaving the meeting who were not Board members. She spotted them saying "Jordan".
