Comments
The press conference from previous videos continues. Jane Spilman continues to defend Dr. Zinser's appointment. Dr. Zinser comes to the stage. They both answer questions. One of which is asked by Mary Lou Novitsky, who essentially asks if Gallaudet is just a stepping stone for Dr. Zinser in relation to Dr. Lee's departure. Spilman answers a question about the accusation that she said "deaf people can't function in a hearing world." Dr. Zinser hopes she gets a chance to visit the campus, and she says as long as no laws are broken there will be no reprisals. Spilman says the Board will not change their decision on the appointment of Dr. Zinser.
