Description

Fourier optics is an important field of optics. It focuses on the application of the Fourier transform to study the behavior of light in optical systems. Since 1960, research has been conducted in the field to exploit all possibilities of image analysis and manipulation. Here, a setup is built to simulate and observe the effects. In this work, a setup was built to simulate and observe effects and limits during the application of Fourier optics to practical applications. The setup was characterized and the results will be presented within the presentation.
