The Global Year of STEM Sign Language Lexicons took place between 2023 and 2024 with the first event occurring in March of 2023 and the last one concluding in September of 2024. Several different events were hosted during which Deaf STEMinists from around the world met to discuss the future of STEM sign language lexicons around the world and the impact this will have on STEM education and careers.
