Description
My presentation concerns the education of the deaf that relates to mathematics for French-speaking countries in the world and more particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. By the end of my presentation, participants will be able to see that there is an urgent need to support the education of the deaf in poor countries so that together the science of the deaf can be built in the near future. My presentation is also designed to draw the attention of participants to the lack of resources for deaf education and to propose solutions that will be of interest to participants. It will also be an opportunity for me to bring innovation in the development of mathematics education to the deaf in French-speaking countries. For the moment, the project to teach mathematics to the deaf in Africa is non-existent but in France where I am there, it is progressing. In short, the objective is clear: to call for collaboration from all in order to work together to develop the education of the deaf of the world. Thank you for your attention.
