Video continues the previous press conference in the middle of Dr. Jordan answering a question. Someone asks if they can give an example of what barriers should they take on next. Phil says he is answering as a deaf person. He hopes the world will stop keeping deaf people at an arms length. Someone asks Bravin if he believes he is an exception being in such a high position in IBM, or if he believes younger people can also succeed at the level he has. Phil says he is not a big man in IBM and he says he works hard and does his best and he believes other Deaf people can do the same. Someone asks what was their most difficult time this past week. Jordan says receiving the phone call from Bravin that he was not selected as president. Bravin says the week was a roller coaster and yet he had to step away and look at the situation realistically which was hard. Greg says there were two moments for him. One is the appointment of Dr. Zinser. The other was everyone wanted him and he was being pulled everywhere. Someone asks Greg what is Jane Spilman's legacy. He says everyone thanks her for her resignation and she cared about the image of the university. Someone asks Bravin what was so exceptional about Dr. Zinser to make her be appointed. Bravin says he took a very unbiased approach to the candidates and cannot answer their question. Someone asks Jordan what's next. He essentially lists out several meetings and building relationships. Someone asks if the lost week means graduation will be moved. Jordan says everything will be compacted. Someone asks if Dr. Jordan will have a formal installation. Bravin says yes and when it happens there will be an announcement. Someone asks Jordan what his dream is for Gallaudet. He says his dream is excellence. Someone asks Greg that now he is back as SBG president, how does he predict the new power will change the SBG. Greg says more participation and support for SBG and communication has improved tremendously.
