The Silent Worker magazine, later renamed the Deaf American, was a publication by the National Association of the Deaf. Inspired by the original Silent Worker newspaper by the New Jersey School for the Deaf, the revived Silent Worker focused on issues affecting the Deaf community. The Silent Worker magazine began publication in 1948 and ceased in 1989.
