Abstract
Kurs analyzes The Politics of Deafness by Owen Wrigley in several ways. His analysis includes looking at Wrigley's hearing status and therefore his "gaze", his perceptions on the Deaf community and Deaf Identity as an outsider, and ultimately discuses if Wrigley's observations are correct.
