Video begins with the Deaf President Now Council introducing themselves: Jackie Kinner (Roth), Paul Singleton, Martin Marcus, Jeff Lewis, Jamie Tucker, Jeff Beatty, Pam Moore, Flo Vold, Roz Rosen, Harvey Goodstein, Jane Norman, ___ Stirling, Ron Nomeland, Ed Corbett, ______, Steve Hlibok, Rory Bonheyo, Greg Olsen, Nancy Conners, Matt Searls, Karen Tucker (who also represents Nancy Bloch), Matthew (?) Wallace, Jeff Rosen, and Pat Johanson. Video cuts to I. King Jordan giving a speech. He introduces his family: Linda Jordan (wife), King III (son), and Heidi (daughter). Video then shows the large crowd amassed in the field house. Jackie Kinner introduces Dick Moore and Janie Golightly from the Washington Post. They recognize the deaf printers at the Washington Post and give them a cheer. They donate two framed copies of the cover of the Washington Post that announced Jordan's selection.
