Video begins with Phil Bravin and Jane Spilman discussing the results of the Board of Trustees' decision. Bravin notes that the deaf members of the Board of Trustees tried to make their case for a deaf candidate. Spilman notes that the hearing members of the Board of Trustees believe a deaf person can be qualified for president, however the hearing candidate (Dr. Zinser) is uniquely talented to lead Gallaudet. She touches on the other activities that the Board of Trustees did.
