Someone gives a speech giving support for a deaf president at Gallaudet to a crowd of students and other participants. Sharon Wood, Harvey Goodstein, Alan Sussman, and others give short speeches in support of a deaf president at different locations on campus. Sussman remembers when former president Merrill gave a speech in Rome about deaf education and got applauded for it. Merrill turned to Sussman and said he would have a bigger impact if he was deaf. Someone talks about how often the best worker is a deaf one, and yet administrators are always hearing. Someone else gives a revised version of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech "I have a dream" to suit deaf audiences. Asuma Smits then gives a speech about qualifications and the presidential selection. Video then cuts to participants marching around campus from outside of Benson Hall to Olmstead Green. Jeff Rosen gives a speech about House One and he asks what's their cause? What's their why? Its Deaf President Now. Yerker Andersson gives a brief speech as well.
