Appendix A is the report of President Edward Miner Gallaudet's travels in Europe gauging the state of Deaf education. Appendix B is President Gallaudet's address delivered in London on August 4, 1897. Appendix C is a letter from President Gallaudet to the Editor of the American Annals of the Deaf titled "President Gallaudet's Mission to the Deaf and their Friends in Europe" dated August 9-12, 1897. Appendix D is "A Message to All Interested in Promoting the Education of the Deaf in Europe, from the Columbia Institution, Washington, D.C." Appendix E is a catalogue of students in the college and the primary department.
