The Global Year of STEM Sign Language Lexicons is taking place between 2023 and 2024 with the first event occurring in March of 2023 and the last one will conclude in September of 2024. Several different events are being hosted during which Deaf STEMinists from around the world will meet to discuss the future of STEM sign language lexicons around the world and the impact this will have on STEM education and careers.

November 17-18, 2023: Symposium on STEM Sign Lexicons for Teachers and Educational Interpreters - National Technical Institute for the Deaf / Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York USA
March 2-5, 2024: STEM Sign Language Lexicon Summit - Gallaudet University, Washington, D.C. USA
August 28-September 1, 2024: 3rd Deaf STEM European Conference: Development of the Deaf STEM due to Modern Technologies. Olsztyn, Poland
The materials in this collection are split into two groups. One is a series of sessions done throughout the Global Year of STEM Sign Language. The second group contains content from the STEM Sign Language Lexicon Summit held at Gallaudet University.
